Sunday Lunch- could there be a better setting than the stunning Berners Tavern?! Total Instagram Goals!!

Hi my angels, so this is my second or third review of the gorgeous Berners Tavern and each time I go back I fall more in love with this venue. The food is always delicious, the staff always on form and it truly is that insta-snapper paradise! As this is my umpteen review of Berners, I will keep this short and sweet…

So for today, we thought we would veer away from the standard menu and opt for something a little different for a change, and as its Sunday opted for their classic Sunday Roast… and as its Sunday, how better to start the day than with a steaming cup of coffee- mmm, this one was delicious.

Now on to the good stuff, if like me you are a fan of a hearty meaty Sunday roast then Berners will not disappoint. Ginormous Yorkshires, light fluffy, yet crisp roasties and meat served medium or medium well, depending on what you like. This is served with lashings of gravy and of course your standard carrots and other succulent greens.

I was pleasantly satisfied, but did not need rolling home (like I normally am after a gorgeous Sunday roast). As such we opted for some dessert, and having seen so many videos of the glorious flaming baked Alaska we could not resist.

This truly was a delight, though a little on the boozy side for me and my friend (they did go a little cray cray on the firing up of this Alaska- but as always we did it for ‘gram and it was oh so worth it).

There really isn’t much more I can say about Berner’s. I genuinely really like this venue, its ostentatious, yet welcoming and the food is always great quality. Another super meal- I’ll definitely keep coming back!
