Jikoni- country chic nestled in Marylebone

An inspired menu, with chefs that change and new menus, honestly i could not fault Jikoni for a little impromptu dinner with friends.

We opted for the Kale chaat (my absolute fave), the soy keema bun, chicken and rice- which is an absolute staple, the prawn toast scotch egg- a delicious cheeky twist on an english classic , and rounding out the evening with a little sticky toffee date pudding and a pistachio tirimisu.

The pudding was scrumptious, but one of my friends who that the tirimisu said it could have been a little better (comparing it to a classic san carlo one) but all round a delicious little meal. Made with high quality ingredients and delicious well thought out flavour combinations. Price for the meal was also reasonable for a place nestled within Marylebone but definitely worth a try.

They do change the menu here so i am keen to go back and try something new another time!

xx
